2011 Triumph America

2011 Triumph America

Triumph have given the 2011 America a major refresh, moving the bike further towards the cruiser style.

A lower seat height, more pullback on the bars, and meatier tyres on new rims are the most noticable changes.

The heart of the America is still the fuel injected 60hp 865cc twin found in the iconic Bonneville, the parallel configuration of the twin setting it apart from the usual v-twin standard.

Seat height is now 690mm, down 30mm from last year. Triumph also moved controls and rider closer together, the bars are now lower and reach further back.

Wheels are now a 15" rear, and 16" front, and tyres are higher in the sidewall. More tyre, less rim. The front guard has taken on a deeper profile as well.

For 2011, two colour schemes will be available - Blue/White, as well as your classic Black. Triumph have also provided an extensive range of accessories for the 2011 America from twin driving lights a la Road King to instrumentation options, and of course, lots of chrome bling.

For price and availability, try your local Triumph dealer.
